Julia Mickum didn't get to Houston until later in life, but knew right away it was a good thing! Raised and educated in the Northeast (in NEW YORK no less!), she never expected to find the same BIG ATTITUDE here in Texas "Texas is probably the only other state I could live in happily - we work hard, we're proud, and we let the rest of the world know it!"

Julia comes to real estate from a varied entrepreneurial past spent in industries as varied as international corporate travel service and specialty bread wholesaling. In each case, Julia's determined efforts to do the best possible job helped her build profitable entities that often employed over 20 people. It wasn't Microsoft, but then for much of this time Julia was also raising her two children as head of the household. Julia's daughter is excitedly entering in her senior year of high school and working weekends at Touchstone, and her son is a starting his junior year at Texas A&M University studying nuclear engineering.

For the last 10+ years Julia has turned her strengths both to her family and to providing the best real estate representation possible. Her work ethic and caring sincerity have won her a loyal team supporting all her ventures, both in business, friendship and philanthropy.

Under Julia's dedicated direction, Touchstone Fine Properties will continue to grow, becoming home to more like-minded real estate professionals serving Houston and the surrounding communities.
